The letter of the law would mean we should not testify in court falsely or gossip about other people. But the Spirit of the Law would include every time we open our mouth to speak. Are we building up or tearing down a person or our society? If we have nothing good to say about a person, it’s better to keep quite. Every time we speak we should ask ourselves if what we are going to say contributes to the Lord’s mission of changing this world (Pope Francis repeatedly remind us that our Lord Christ’s mission is not only to bring us to a life in eternity, but also to change this world). We should ask the Holy Spirit to help us develop this habit.

Happy Sunday, The Lord’s Day, to Everyone ! Let’s go to our church and together with the community, thank The Lord for the life of the past week.
