Recently, I was invited to bless a call center. On the way to the blessing the owner expressed concern for his young employees. Many are living a gay lifestyle, others are promiscuous and are far from the Church. Many do not go to Mass – they work overnight, and sleep during Sunday. In the office blessing, about 10 of the 20 boys were dressed more like girls, confused about their sexuality. They seemed to me like sheep without a shepherd. The Church is already doing a lot. Around the world, 25 percent of education, prevention, treatment, and counseling for people living with HIV and AIDS is provided by the Catholic Church. But we can do more. Let us resolve to do our best as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
